Missourians Overwhelmingly Support Tax Hikes For Millionaires

From Politico (h/t Michael Kimberlin on Google+):
The liberal Progressive Change Campaign Committee is trying to take that a step further, and released polling today on a "millionaire's tax."

The poll question, asked by the Democratic firm PPP, "In order to reduce the national debt, would you support or oppose raising taxes on those with incomes over $1,000,000 a year?"

Asked that way, 78% of voters in Ohio backed the measure, 76% in Missouri, 77% in Montana, and 79% in Minnesota.
Seems like a smart way to balance the budget without destroying the safety net, if you ask me.

Update: Just saw that Fired Up Missouri already posted about this shortly before I did:
In Missouri, 67 percent of those polled were in favor of higher taxes on those making more than $250,000 a year and 76 percent supported higher taxes for those making over 1 million dollars.
